Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the Aathman, Batis Dhuni and Shankhadhal Bhandara program organized at Dera Siddh Baba Garibnath Math in Pehowa. He addressed the saints and devotees from all over the country. Inviting everyone to Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, he said that this biggest event of Sanatan Dharma will be more grand and grand than all the previous Kumbhs. Yogi Adityanath also congratulated Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who attended the program, for his victory in the assembly elections.
Yogi Adityanath expressed special gratitude to the people of the state and said that the people of Haryana have proved Lord Krishna’s proclamation ‘Paritranaay Sadhunaam, Vinashaya Cha Dushkritam’ by re-electing the double engine government in the state. The people of Haryana have shown what the Janardan form of the public is like. Yogi Adityanath said that the ultimate duty is to protect the power of good people and send the power of bad people to the abyss. While discussing the two purposes of religion, Abhudaya and Nishreyas, he said that without following Abhudaya, it is not possible to attain Nishreyas.
Explanation of the two purposes of religion ‘Abhudaya’ and ‘Nishreyas’
Yogi Adityanath said that there are two purposes of religion, the first is Abhudaya and the second is Nishreyas. Abhudaya means worldly progress, in which we connect our energy with public welfare according to our ability. For this, we have to take the right decision. Good saints will be needed in the religious field. Right people will have to be chosen for development. If good people are chosen, the result will also be good. The people of Haryana have taken a good decision. This is the land of Lord Krishna’s Karmayoga.
The result of those who did bad will also be bad. The second reason is Nishreyas. A yogi or a good householder can never attain Nishreyas by forgetting his Abhudaya. When we work selflessly for worldly progress, we will see the result in this form. This will not only set the basis for the achievement of wishes of public welfare along with development in this world, but after this it will also pave the way for our salvation. These are the two wishes of religion. Since ancient times, saints have been gathering with these wishes. The special events that happened from time to time through the divine great men who have blessed this earth became our festivals.
Mahant Shernath Ji Maharaj has brought ‘Chaman’ to Pehowa
While narrating his memoirs, he mentioned the hymn of revered Guru Shri Triloknath Babu Ji of Guru Gorakhnath Ashram in Junagadh and said that ‘Saints are happy, always happy, always do gardening in the world they go to’. Yogi Adityanath said that from this place of Pehowa, the tradition of incarnation Yogi Satyanath Ji got spread in the entire country. But the situation here was not good for the last four generations. But it is a matter of happiness that Mahant Shernath has awakened new faith in the minds of devotees by bringing ‘chaman’ to the ruined holy places of not only Pehowa but also Muzaffarnagar and Shamli and by giving concrete form to the sentiments of the Siddhas. This holy land which was going towards decline for four generations has started moving towards upliftment after the arrival of a Yogi. This is the holy land of a well-known Siddha Yogi Garibnath ji of the Nath sect.
Religion does not mean migration
Yogi Adityanath said that this event is being organized on the banks of Maa Saraswati. The Haryana government is doing the work of reviving the Saraswati river with full commitment. Now it is also the responsibility of the saints and the common people to make collective efforts for this. Saving every drop of water, purification of water, tree plantation, natural and cow-based farming will be the basis for reviving this river. We have to discharge our responsibility towards the rivers of India. He said that religion does not mean migration. No Yogeshwar called migration as religion. Adi Shankaracharya, a saint born in Kerala, established four Peethas in the four corners of the country through public awareness and debates. Today, we are able to see the country in the same form in front of us.
The wish for a bright future will be fulfilled only by preserving the heritage
Yogi Adityanath, while referring to Kashi Vishwanath Dham, said that earlier even 10 devotees could not gather there together, but today 50 thousand devotees can gather together. Similarly, Lord Shri Ram has been seated in his grand temple in Ayodhya after 500 years. Similarly, the Maha Kumbh of 2025 will also be bigger and grander than all the previous Kumbhs. Revered saints of Sanatan Dharma will be present in this biggest gathering of the world. Gods and goddesses, ancestors and holy souls associated with all the worlds will also come. The double engine government of BJP is fully committed to ensure that we all get the company of revered saints. Yogi Adityanath said that the double engine government is working with full commitment to protect every holy place which is associated with our Sanatan Dharma, Siddhas-Saints and Avtaar Purush. Only by preserving the heritage, we will be able to make the wish of a bright future come true. While wishing the people of Haryana on the occasion of Deepawali festival, Yogi Adityanath said that only with the wonderful confluence of heritage and development, the country will become a developed India and the biggest power in the world in 2047.
